Staff will yell at you if needed (with a very pleasant voice) and guide you off the evil ways. Idiots or blatant fools will not be tolerated at all.
"You can't get rid of the dupes, but you can get rid of dupers" -Devanchya
We can not possible write up rules for every unique situation, hence why we refer to using common sense. In a nutshell that means: don't be a dick. For those who need clarification of the above rules, please see each section here.
It should be fairly self-explanatory but here goes:
Don't be a dick towards your fellow players. Keep in mind that you were a n00b once too, so have some understanding towards them. By "some understanding" we mean that you shouldn't mock them for being newbies - but it's not your job either to become a walking-wikipedia for their use. Trade fairly (not just to your advantage), help your fellow players out instead of robbing them blind.
Playing in a team would require a whole novel for itself. If you join a team, it's not staffs job to divide blocks into equal piles in case of a "divorce". The basic principle is that who owns the claim, is the "King" (please bear in mind that DirtHuts owns your claim).
We will beat you with a cactus block until you stop being a dick.
Try to keep the overworld nice and free of giant craters going all the way down to bedrock. Digging a 10x10 chunk area from surface to bedrock is an instant recipe for getting beaten with a rotten herring by staff.
When building your base(s), we ask you not to go insane with your setup and keep a respectable distance to your nearest neighbours, so they also have a chance at the landscape you are sharing. Insane setups tend to cause lag and in the long run cause even map corruption (and/or other lovely suprises that will cause eventually a map reset):
Yes, there are other players in the world(s) you are in. Don't treat them like your personal slaves or try to replace Google with them - show your fellow players the common courtesy and respect, that you expect from others. Within some time you'll learn to know them better and even possibly maybe make some friends in the process.
Seeing as this is multiplayer, don't ignore your chat. You never know if you walk past your luck, fame and fortune (love is strictly excluded) by ignoring someone trying to get your attention. Staff will get your attention even if you're trying to actively ignore the messages, we will force feed you silverfish and finally build you a nice comfy box of bedrock to live in.
When using /tpa etc. commands that involve other players, be polite and don't throw it to everyone at random. You might end up being a slave for someone in a murky cave. And/or piss off everyone which is not nice.
Just a reminder. This is a mature community. We're here to have fun and relax. Cheating is not only immature, but tends to ruin the experience for all other players on the server.
Any cheating, duping, hacking, exploiting, ect, ect will be dealtwith silk gloves. Silk gloves that kick your butt off the server, revoke the whitelist and most likely place a large(ish) nuke in your base (the process may involve building an observation box for the curious players, also known as "the deathbox") If you interact with a player who seems to be engaging in something fishy (actual fishing or cooking fish is excluded), you better report it to staff.
